Editorial Policy

This page describes the rules every article on the site follows. If a page breaks them, tell us through the contact page.

Scope

We cover the tools around affiliate marketing: proxies, antidetect browsers, trackers, CPA networks and, later, payments and business setup. We explain how they work and how to choose between them. We do not write guides to evading the rules of advertising platforms, running multiple accounts to get around bans, or bypassing anti-fraud systems. Explaining what browser fingerprinting is and why separate browser profiles exist is in scope; a step-by-step scheme for getting banned accounts back online is not.

Sources and numbers

Every figure that could go out of date, such as a price, a payout, a limit or a market statistic, must have a source and the date we checked it. We prefer primary sources: vendor documentation and pricing pages, official platform help pages and published research. If we cannot find a reliable source for a number, the number does not go into the text. Sources are listed at the bottom of each article.

Testing and reviews

We only describe a tool as tested if we tested it. When a statement comes from vendor documentation or a third party instead of our own use, the text says so. We do not publish invented user reviews, case studies attributed to people who do not exist, or screenshots of accounts that are not ours.

Use of AI tools

We use language models to help draft and structure text. A draft is never published as it comes out. Each article is checked against primary sources, corrected and edited by a person, and supplemented with things a model cannot know, such as current prices and hands-on observations. A person is responsible for every published page.

Independence and affiliate links

Editorial decisions are not for sale. We do not accept payment for placement, rankings or favourable coverage. At the time of writing the site contains no affiliate links. If that changes, every page that contains them will carry a visible disclosure at the top, and the presence of a commission will not change which tools we recommend.

Updates and corrections

Each article shows the date it was first published and the date it was last updated. We revisit pages when a source they rely on changes, and re-check prices and limits on a regular schedule. When a factual error is confirmed, we fix it, change the update date and, if the error was material, say what changed at the bottom of the page.

Bylines

Articles carry the AffiliatePal Editorial byline. We do not publish under invented personal names or attribute articles to people who do not exist. If named authors are added later, each will have a real profile page.
